Tryouts are mandatory for all swimmers wishing to be enrolled into PFL Aquatics.
 or Shark School/Swim Up. PFL is not a "learn to swim" club.

Tryout requirements for PFL Competitive Teams.​​​

Requirements for the competitive team are that all swimmers must be familiar with all four competition strokes plus starts, turns and underwaters.  Swimmers will be asked to perform a legal 100 yard Individual Medley.​

Tryouts requirements for Shark School.

​Successful Shark School applicants must be able to swim one full 25 yard length of the Taylor High School pool using freestyle and backstroke, unassisted.   We do not take swimmers under age 6. Swimmers must have completed one year of elementary school.  Shark School is not a learn-to-swim program.​​​​
